CERT Graduation - Set for August 11

August 2007

Twenty-eight Emeryville residents and employees of Emeryville businesses will be officially recognized for their completion of emergency preparedness training at a special graduation ceremony on Saturday August 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Emeryville City Hall, 1333 Park Avenue. The ceremony will take place in the Garden Room on the ground level.

Assistant Fire Chief George Orrego will lead the ceremony with a graduation speech, and Mayor Davis will be on hand to recognize the new Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members.

All Emeryville CERT members, families and friends and those interested in the CERT program are invited to attend the graduation. Food and drinks will follow the ceremony.
