Greetings Emeryville Neighbors!

The Emery Unified School District believes that we are ALL family...and we want you to know that you are welcome at our house!

Community members and potential new families interested in Emeryville’s schools - and Anna Yates Elementary School in particular - are encouraged to get acquainted with how we learn, play and grow by joining in any of the events listed below. Children are welcome in our schools and at our events!

Anna Yates Elementary School Open Houses for Kindergarten and New Families

Meet staff, see classrooms, learn about programs and enrollment.

Saturday, March 15th from 10 am until 12 noon...Snacks and arts activities for children!

Tours of Anna Yates Elementary School. See students, teachers & classrooms in action!

Special Events for Families & Community

• African American Cultural Assembly

Thursday, February 28th at 9 a.m.

• Family Science Night

Tuesday, March 18th at 5:30 p.m.

• Earth Day in Emeryville

Saturday, April 26th at 12:00 noon at Temescal Creek Park

• Spring Music Concert

Thursday, May 29th at 5:30 p.m.

All events will be held at Anna Yates Elementary School, 1070 41st Street (corner of 41st and Adeline Streets), Emeryville.

Kindergarten enrollment begins on Monday, February 4th for the 2008-09 academic year. Students who will be five years old by December 2, 2008 are eligible to begin school in August.
