THE WELLNESS CORNER: Advice on Getting Your H20 On the Go

Being healthy, sustainable, green, organic, get more exercise, drink more water, eat less junk food, lose weight, drive less, eat healthier meals.

A lot of us just feel overwhelmed, right? What can we do to make this all easier, you ask?

I say take the “one-step-at-a-time” approach so you can savor and really take notice of every life affirming improvement you make. Let’s start with something really simple yet very profound. H2O – our good friend, water.

Did you know the human body is made up of 70% of the stuff, as is the Earth? This is why it is so important to drink enough of the right kind of water so we can keep fresh water moving through our cells for effective hydration and inner house cleaning.

Did you know that the bottled water industry is largely unregulated? Imagine everyone you know who buys water and then seeing a huge pile of water bottles stacked really high that do not decompose into usable waste! One alternative to expensive bottled water that has worked for years for me and my clients is buy a home water filter and shower filter, and a few good quality water bottles that you can keep refilling. Keep one in your car, at your desk, in your house and give them to your kids and friends as gifts filled with yummy cleansing life giving water. This is good for our bodies and good for the planet.
